Façade Engineering have recently completed the removal and replacement of the existing Steel Window system at the London Borough of Camden Council Offices.
The Council occupied the lower floors of the building while the upper floors were refurbished and then transferred to the upper floors to allow the rest of the building to be completed. This required restricted working to a strict regime of noise and dust control and critical programme to ensure the intermediate move took place on time.
The client required extremely high weather, thermal and solar performance with minimum of maintenance so SAPA Aluminium EL52 ST Curtain Wall was used with Pilkington “Suncool Active” self cleaning glass. The Powder Coating was guaranteed for 25 years requiring an annual clean only.
